Fluorescent lamp current supply circuit - starts fluorescent lamp immediately without conventional thermal starter by using LC circuit in series with ballast

The electrical supply circuit for a fluorescent lamp starts the fluorescent lamp immediately after the current has been switched on, despite having no conventional thermal starter. It has a capacitor and an indicator which are coupled in series with the fluorescent lamp and its ballast resistor. This LC circuit produces the higher voltage needed to start the lamp and is embedded with the ballast resistor in a synthetic resin casting. The resin acts as mechanical support, electrical insulator and noise damper.
