The holder of a plug-in socket with protective contacts attached to a cable such as for example for heating an electric kettle. The housing is made with a hollow space which is occupied by a special tool during manufacture. These holes are subsequently filled with the safety contacts in the socket. Before manufacturing the body (1) the free ends of the protective contacts (5, 6) are overlapped by covers (12, 13) laid inside the tool. They are placed in such a way that the protective contacts are surrounded by the material of the body in the free space (9, 10). The coverings (12, 3) are made from tubular sections with the appropriate diameters for the protective contact.
