Release agents for unvulcanised elastomers contain, as main component, polymethacrylate esters having ring- and ball softening point above 80 (100-200) degrees C. Release agents have good separating activity and can be applied from solns. or dispersion. Demoulding is facilitated even after vulcanisation. Adhesion of sheets is or blanks can be prevented until further processing.
