The lightweight double-skinned indoor partition wall is made up from monolithic, self-supporting shell type elements, and is equally suitable for original erection or for subsequent installation or interior conversion. The thin-walled outside shells (1) have vertically aligned centre stem (2) and two edge stems (3, 4) formed onto the rear, and elements are alternately offset so that two interlocking shaped edge stems, on adjacent elements, converge with the centre stem on an opposing element. They cannot with this to form a force-locking nodal point (9), with no continuous wall joint gaps left.
