<p>Threader for upper thread in sewing machine or hand needle comprises a guide surface at the top, and two guide plates extending forwardly parallel to the guide surface. The opening formed by the guide plates has a width equal to the needle thickness, and has on each side a recess at the same level from the front, parallel to the guide plates, and a hook. The hook extends from behind between the guide plates in the region of the recesses, and lies parallel to the guide surface at a distance corresp. to the distance between the upper edge of the needle eye and a zone at the cone of the sewing machine needle. At the bottom of the threader are two further guide plates also parallel to the guide surface.</p> |
