Electron synchrotron synchroniser with output resonator - has output resonator or klystron connected directly to coupling in point

The accelerator, for an electron synchrotron is esp. for a positron-electron tandem ring accelerator. It has a coupling-in point for coupling in the amplified output from a klystron (500MHz). Coupling in is achieved using a coupling loop or oris which is placed directly in the output resonator of the klystron (3). There is no microwave window between output resonator and coupling-in point. The flange of the klystron output resonator is connected directly to the flange of the coupling-in point.
