The liquid container (1) has an orifice from which the liquid emerges automatically into a supply tank (14). This transfer depends on the drawing of liquid from the supply tank. The supply tank is connected with a drinking vessel. The liquid container (1) has a cap (2) which has holes for the exit of liquid and the inlet of air into the container. The cap dips into the supply tank and the arrangement is such that on achieving a given level in the tank, no more air can pass into the liquid container and no more liquid can leave the liquid container.
