Medical respiratory apparatus, which can inject a medical spray into the breathing gas at regular intervals, has a bypass in the breathing unit (7) for the spray device (5, 6) for combination with pressure and flow rate signals inside a control unit (5). This is connected with a pressure reducer on the one hand for a separate energy source or a gas under pressure from the breathing unit and on the other hand with the medicament spray unit (6). The control unit (5) has an exchangeable double membrane valve controlled by logic signals from distributor blocks and by auxiliary pressure through a reducer from the gas supply and atmosphere. A signal from the auxiliary pressure at one input (12) gives an output signal is fed to a unit connected with the spray jet (19) for the medicament supply device (6).
