<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen scavenger for a refrigerator showing excellent deoxidation effect at low temp. and capable of being simply regenerated by immersing the same in hot water, by providing a perforated polytetrafluoroethylene film layer to both surfaces of a layer comprising a mixture of a specific deoxidation agent and a fluorocarbon resin. CONSTITUTION:Two perforated polytetrafluoroethylene films (voids; 60%) are prepared and an org. solvent suspension of a fluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer is applied to the single surface of said films and dried. A mixture consisting of alcohol and an aqueous suspension containing bis(salicylaldehyde) ethylenediimine cobalt (II) or a derivative thereof being a deoxidation agent and polytetrafluoroethylene is applied to the copolymer side of one coated film and dried under vacuum. Next, the other one perforated polytetrafluoroethylene film is placed thereon so as to direct the copolymer adhered surface downwardly and the whole is heated under pressure to obtain an oxygen scavenger having a three-layered structure.</p> |
