PURPOSE:To keep a road surface beautiful and facilitate its maintenance by adding calcium hydroxide to a mixture of calcium salt of lignic acid and aluminum sulfate together with plant or mineral fiber as reinforcement to stabilize the surface soil. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer of the ground, made by adding approx. 0.5% of lignic acid, approx. 0.7% of aluminum sulfate, approx. 1.3% of calcium hydroxide, and approx. 0.5% of 5 to 20mm long, for example, hemp fiber to different soils of viscous soil and sand soil, and stabilized, and a surface layer of the ground, in which these additives are not contained, are mixed, hardened, and cured for seven days, respectively. In addition, these are soaked in water for three days and a swelling test is made to observe the surface condition of both of them. As a result, any swelling is not observed in the surface layer of the ground to which stabilizing agent is added, and a surface layer of the ground in which any additives are not contained is swelled and collapsed. Thus, the road surface of ground, foot path, park, etc., can be beautified and front heave, muddiness, dirt production can be suppressed. |
