PURPOSE:To process the reverse surface side of a photosensitive material uniformly by arranging a developer metering and supply means which meters and supplies a specific amount of the developer on the conveyance path for the photosensitive material and developing the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A PS plate (photosensitive planographic printing plate) 12 is a box type which is long in the width direction and the upper part is formed in a mountain shape; and an opening part 26 which is open upward is formed and a half - 3/4 of the outer periphery of a wire bar 30 is inserted. The wire bar 30 rotates clockwise and the developer in a developer storage tank 28 is stuck between winds of the wire 34 and applied on the reverse surface of the PS plate 12. This coating amount is set by the rotating direction and/or rotating speed of the wire bar. Thus, the photosensitive material which has an image printed on the reverse surface side is supplied the specific amount of the developer to the reverse surface side of the photosensitive material by a developer metering and supply means. Thus, the reverse surface side of the photosensitive material is developed uniformly. |
