<p>1505770 Delivering sheets; feeding webs FLODINS INDUSTRI AB 23 Feb 1976 [26 Feb 1975] 07101/76 Heading B8R Apparatus for feeding sheets to a delivery point and delivering them to a stack comprises a belt 4, Fig. 3, supporting the webs, a reciprocating feeding device 70 and a delivering device 15 moving with the feeding device 70 between a sheet gripping position and a delivery position. The feeding device may comprise a clamp engaging the belt 4 on feeding strokes to present sheets to the delivering device. The delivering device may comprise a frame 76 fixed to the feeding device and supporting pneumatic grippers 77 picking sheets off the belt 4 and dropping them in a hopper 17. The frame may include means permitting longitudinal displacement of the grippers 77 thereon. Feeding webs.-Means, Fig. 2, for unwinding a length of web comprises a pneumatically reciprocated plunger 21 carrying a pair of rollers 20 on a yoke 19. On a downward stroke of the plunger, a clamp 23 holds the right hand run of web while web is unwound from the left, being drawn down on to a fixed roller 22. On the return stroke of the plunger the clamp 23 is released and the right-hand run of web advanced by the conveyer belt 4, Fig. 3.</p> |
