The pneumatic transfer station has a container which is connected to the pneumatic tubes. The upper part of the container has an inlet tube and the cross tube is able to move sideways at right angles to the axis of the air tubes. The cross tube is supported by the plates and another tube acts as a receiver for the cartridges. The transfer of the cartridge is effected by moving it sideways from one tube to another. The drive is provided by a chain or two sprocket wheels.
