<p>Device for irrigation and rinsing of living or artificial organs in sterile conditions comprises a sealed bag contg. the irrigation and rinsing liq. and made of flexible synthetic material which can be sterilised at >100 degrees C. ]A tube made of the same material as the bag and opening out into the bag has at its free end an end piece of rigid synthetic material covered and sealed prior to use by a cap. The sealed joint between the tube and the bag is pref. formed by welding, while the tube is connected to the end piece by fitting the latter sealingly. The device provides high sterility when rinsing tubes through which the patient's blood has passed, so that the patient recovers all his blood plus a small quantity of rinse liq.</p> |
