Decorative mounting of photograph - has backing removed and film glued onto curved base with raised areas and varnish sprayed onto top surface

The process is used for decorative mounting of a photograph this being first rubbed down on its reverse side to reduce thickness. Alternatively it may be made thinner by removing the backing from the image, the resulting film being used. This is then glued onto a base which is formed into shape before the adhesive has dried. This supporting base can be used to give raised areas on the photograph, rounded particles being provided under these areas. The surface of the photograph is finally sprayed with a cellulose film or bright varnish to give the required enamelled effect.
