The metal screen door, for garages, shop windows etc is intended to be prefabricated as a complete assembly in a workshop and then transported to the site. It consists of a casing (1), to be attached to a wall by angle brackets, which houses a tube (2) on which is rolled the screen (3) which consists of hinge jointed metal sheets. The screen slides in U-sectioned guide rails (4) which are attached to a wall by angle brackets. All the pieces of the screen are galvanised for corrosion protection, and the screen can be operated manually or fitted with an electric motor.
