The filling head has a valve (4) which sits over the aerosol container outlet valve. The filling head has a sleeve (6) which fits over the valve and an '0' ring (12) is located between the sleeve and the outside sleeve (5) which is held behind the nut (14). When the filling head is pressed downwards the end of the outer sleeve presses into the groove (2) on the aerosol container. The flange (15) of the outer sleeve abuts against the inner sleeve (6) while the valve (4) presses against the face (16) of the inner sleeve, thus forming a seal.
