<p>An arrangement for moulding a panel of a type which generates a gas when it is heated, comprises a heated mould having sections defining a cavity. In this, the panel impregnated with water can be given the required contours whilst the fitting in the mould allow the steam generated during the pressing and heating operation, to escape without it being necessary to open the mould. Makes it unnecessary to open and close the mould repeatedly so as to ged rid of the steam and gas generated. Prodn. times are thus reduced considerably.</p> |
