Heat insulated window metal profile plastic spacer - has plastic resilient extension barbs facing metal edges carrying matching hooked lips

The heat-insulated profile units, esp. for window construction, has two parts held at an interval by U-shaped plastic pieces with shanks engaging behind their edges, and with resilient retainer extensions bearing external barbed lips engaging complimentary lips on a metal piece. On the resilient extensions (7) the barbed hook-shaped lips (8) face the edges (3) which are engaged by the U shaped plastic profiles (5) which carry them. The complimentary hooked lips (9) are sited on the edges engaged from behind by the shanks (4) of these plastic profiles. The resilient extension may protrude outwards from the base of the plastic profile. Effective heat-insulating connection is established by simple inexpensive means, with min. material used.
