Aerosol container esp. for cosmetic liquid has a push button (4) operated by finger pressure to release the spray. The spray head is attached to the neck of the container (1) which has a waisted section (24) positioned below the container top. A two-armed lever (12) is releasably attached to the container above its neck and below the spray head button (4). At least one (15) of the two arms (15, 18) is bent upwards and outwards to form a support for one finger (17) of the hand during operation of the spray head. The two arms lie in different vertical planes relative to the main axis of the container. Use of such a lever facilitates holding the vessel and operating it while it is pointed precisely in the required direction.
