<p>The purpose of the design is to offer a hand operated paint roller where the repeated immersion of the roller into the paint is eliminated. The device consists of paint vessel provided with pressurizing pump and adjusting throttle fitted on the vessel top. The paint is delivered by air pressure via standpipe and hose to the hand roller, consisting of hollow handle with spring loaded thumb-operated shut-off slide. The angled arm (10) is hollow and connects to one end of the roller rotatingly seated by its hub ( 8) on the free end of the arm. The hub also carries the hollow roller by (2) with perforations (1) and the paint flows out from the orifice (10a) against cone (4) facilitating even distribution over the entire inner roller area and via perforations (1) to the felt cover (6).</p> |
