The cylindrical domain store has a layer on which manipulation patterns, domain expanders, detector strips, conductor loop generators, domain destroyers, control and reading conductors are applied. A NiFe layer (2) is applied on the storage layer (1), and a photo varnish layer on top of the NiFe layer (2), exposed at the required structure areas and removed. A non-magnetic layer (5) is applied on the bared NiFe layer whose thickness is at least equal to that of the NiFe layer. Remaining photo varnish is removed and the exposed NiFe layer removed by sputtering.
