Card punch with adjustable coding bars - has projections on bars to move pins in mechanism with perforated plate

Card punch as a coding device, a puncing mechanism with a card support bed, and an actuating device. The coding device consists of adjustable parallel coding bars (20) fitted with projections to move pins in the punching mechanism. A plate moves to allow the pins to pass through it towards the coding bars. Pref. the actuating device has a camshaft which raises the plate against the pins, and the plate is pref. spring-biased against the punch frame.
