<p>A tubular coupling sleeve (4) is used to provide a plug-in connection between two tubes (1, 2). At the axial centre of the coupling tube, a radial constriction (5) on the cylindrical coupling section produces a spacer shoulder for the two tube ends. Each end of the coupling sleeve has a number of open slots (4a) so that the lugs so formed can be bent inwards through 180 deg.. When the coupling is installed, the anchor lugs (4b) are forced into the elastic insulation cover of the pipes (3). The pipes are thus secured against rotation and axial movements.</p> |
