Electronic pressure difference transducer - varies two supply lead current in square root characteristic for pressure difference flow measurement

The electronic pressure difference transducer processing network varies the current in a two wire supply lead according to the square root of the pressure difference between two monitored points, for flow measurement. The network is supplied with current by two wires only (1, 2) which also serve as the signal carrying medium. A current regulator (7) for null current setting, and a suitable voltage generator (8) supply suitable voltages to a basic transducer circuit (3), amplifier (4) and square root law processing circuit (5). This feeds a voltage to current amplifier (6) and this in turn affects the current in the supply and signal leads (1, 2) in the manner required.
