<p>The die is for shaping drawing ring used e.g. for the mass production of stators or rotors of single-spindle pumps. The spindles are drawn and simultaneously rotated, while it passes through ring (2). The shape of the ring opening is produced so that first an opening is cut whose shape corresponds to the profile identical to the cross section through the finished spindle. The inclined part is then shaped and extends to a depth which amounts to a fifteenth part of the pitch of the thread of the spindle. The shaping profile is limited by a radius with the adjoining straight part in the direction of the face enclosing an angle with the tangent line to the circular arc.</p> |
