The rear part of the sailing surfboard has the deck line lowered into a depression, open to the rear (4) and flanked by sidewalls (1) to the height of the rest of the hull. This forms a streamlined shape to prevent turbulence, while the over-all weight of the hull is minimised. The hull is easily transported on a roof rack and provides a good grip in the water over all its length. The operator stands in the depression at the rear for improved control.
|
