Hydroxamic acid derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 and R2 independently of one another in each case denote methyl or ethyl, and R3 and R4 independently of one another represent hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, can be used advantageously in plant growth regulators which can be used, in particular, for inhibiting the growth of grasses and crops. The preparation of the active substances is described. |
