<p>This core sampler intended especially for coring into the dead man of a blast furnace comprises a position sensor (7, 13, 14) for the tip of the core inside the sampler. The sensor comprises a piston (7) capable of sliding in the sampler (1) under the thrust of the core and a device (12, 13, 14) for measuring the sliding of the piston. The measuring device (12, 13, 14) comprises a cable (12) attached to the piston (7) and wound under return tension onto a drum (13) whose rotation shows the required measurement. <IMAGE></p> |
