<p>Ski vibration damper has guide elements and/or limiting elements connected to the ski, and a mass which is movable in paths provided by the elements, which are constructed such that much of the motion of the mass is at 90 deg. to the skis surface. Pref. the mass is a single part, but may have several individual parts, or very many small parts, or a liquid. The elements may form components of a closed housing, with a rigid or releasable attachment near the tip of the ski, or as an integral part of the ski; the mass may form the ski tip. Perturbing building-up of vibrations in use is prevented.</p> |
