PURPOSE:To prevent a fault in the transfer of an image and jamming from occurring by constituting a device so that a copying action by operating a copying switch can be started only when a sheet is in a specified carried state. CONSTITUTION:By turning a guide 31b for manually operating, an opening part 31a is opened and a transfer sheet 15 is manually inserted to a position corresponding to a detection part 33 through auxiliary rollers 32a and 32a. Moreover, a copying push-button switch is depressed. At such a time, copying action is not executed because a driving system relay (PRT) does not work and the driving system is not actuated when the end side of the transfer sheet 15 is not on the extension line of a separation belt 21 (that means, when the sheet is not inserted in a normal position). However, when the end side of the transfer sheet 15 is on the extension line of the separation belt 21, the driving system relay (PRT) works and the driving system is actuated, then the auxiliary rollers 32a and 32a, etc., turn to guide the transfer sheet 15 from an auxiliary paper supply device 32 to a paper supply path 28, thereby performing the copying action. Thus, the fault in the transfer of the image and jamming can be prevented from occurring. |
