<p>An improved catalyst for use in Octafining plants is characterized by a zeolite of the ZSM-5 type of zeolite ZSM-12 or zeolite ZSM-21. With substitution of a zeolite catalyst for platinum on silica alumina, the process operates at very high space velocities as calculated with respect to the active zeolite component of the catalyst. Typically the space velocity with respect to zeolite component may be 1 to 200 unit weights of charge per unit weight of zeolite per hour.</p> |
