摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the productivity and to simplify the constitution and a process to achieve the cost reduction by laminating a protective film to a recording film composed of a membrane of a mixture containing at least one of metal oxide and metal nitride fine particles as the first component, org., matter as the second component and metal fine particles as the third component. CONSTITUTION:This optical data recording medium 10 is constituted of a recording film 12 and a protective film 13 and the first component 1 in the recording film 12 is composed of fine particles of oxide or nitride of either one of metals of the Groups IIB - VIB of the Periodic Table or fine particles of both of them. The second component 122 is org. matter and the third component 123 is fine particles of at least one of metals of the Groups IIB - VIB. Next, the protective film 13 is a membrane composed of a mixture containing at least one of metal oxide, metal nitride, metal carbide, metal silicide and metal boride as the first component 131 and org. matter as the second component 132. When this recording film 12 is irradiated with recording laser beam, a protruding deformation part called a bubble is formed and, even when the protective film is laminated to this bubble mode recording medium, the deterioration of recording reproducing characteristics, especially, a lowering of a reproduction signal contrast ratio is reduced.
