<p>The equipment pins together a set of documents or banknotes without having to manipulate a pin each time. The corner of the set is inserted in it, and pressure on the cover drives a pin into place. The equipment can be supplied with pins by a loading mechanism, so that several operations can be carried out between reloadings. The pin can be driven home by a thruster actuated by a rack-and-pinion mechanism, and the corner in the set of documents can be formed by pressing it between two radiused and slotted metal components.</p> |
