The grain silo comprises a handling tower accommodating elevators and various adjacent storage hoppers. The tower is surrounded by the hoppers in a rosette pattern, allowing discharge pipes to be mounted in the intervening space between tower and hoppers. Loading and discharging of the hoppers takes place by gravity, from the top and to the bottom of the elevators respectively. Hopper filling can be by a selector device, pendulum-mounted under the elevator heads, and delivering grain to the hopper selected in turn. The silo can include grain cleaners, driers and graders.
