<p>The plate which serves as a base during transport acts as a foundation for the various machines e.g. as an emergency pump, a water-softener, a carbon filter a chlorine tank, an extn. fan, a diesel generator (now placed outside) etc. The tank is embedded in concrete in a reversed position to that during transport inside the hood. The diesel generator with its own hood is not required if electricity is available on site. Burying of the tank is desirable in hot climates the tank acting as contact tank for the water and chlorine gas and also as a storage tank for the purified water. By packing one part inside another, all the various elements are protected during transport site and occupy the min. amt. of space. The mechanical items are all bolted to the base in their working positions.</p> |
