<p>The ski boot has two relatively rigid side panels (1, 2) at the top back part, for holding the side of the ankle and leg. The side panels (1, 2) are separated by a U shaped notch (3) which widens towards the top. A curved bridge piece (5) is detachably fixed over the opening (3). Each end (6) of the bridge piece (5) contains an inward-pointing L-shaped extension. The base (10) of each L shaped extension points forwards. The edges (12, 13) of the side panels (1, 2) near the opening (3) contain a number of vertical holes (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19) with rectangular cross section, to take the extension (of the bridge piece (5). A lining (20) is inserted in the shoe made of soft flexible material.</p> |
