<p>Cutter for rotary lawn mowers comprises a rotating hollow disc (11), the cavity (20) of which communicates with the exterior by two opposite apertures (18, 19). Resilient cutting members (24) with wires (12) are threaded through eyes (26) in the upper disc portion up to their flange (25) into the cavity and out through the apertures (18, 19) to extend radially outwards in operation. The disc eyes (26) are oblique w.r.t. the disc plane to ease threading of the cutter elements through the apertures (18, 19). Cutting elements can be replaced easily.</p> |
