发明名称 MICROPROCESSOR DIAGNOSTIC CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain diagnosis by the single body of a fault processor without interrupting the operation of another device by separating and interface between the other processor and the fault processor when the fault occurs in the processor, executing a microprogram for diagnosis in the fault processor itself and notifying an executed result to the other processor. CONSTITUTION:When a diagnostic mode F/F 2 is set through a diagnostic mode input terminal 1 by the other processor, a sequence circuit 9 detects this setting and the fault processor itself is set in a diagnostic state. The sequence circuit 9 activates an output buffer control circuit 3 at first and electrically separates an input/output buffer 15 from the other interface. Continuously, the microprogram for diagnosis stored in a ROM 6 is activated and diagnostic operation is independently executed in the internal part of the fault processor itself. In a comparator circuit 11, a diagnosis expected value is compared with a diagnostic result and when they are dissident, the dissidence is informed of the other processor. Thus, the fault diagnosis can be executed singly by the fault processor without giving any influence to the other processor.
