Centralised clock system with slave clocks - uses periodic clock transmission of decimal number representing master clock display

The centralised clock system has information relating to the time and the date transmitted periodically from a master clock to a series of slave clocks. The central control periodically transmits a number of pulses corresponding to a decimal number representing the date and time displayed by the master clock. This number is stored until transmission and is subsequently stored and displayed by each slave clock. The pulses are pref. transmitted to the slave clocks via a single pair of wires, each slave clock having a processing circuit for extracting the information represented by the transmitted pulses.
