The sealed prefabricated burial vault allows insertion of coffins while preventing accumulation of exterior water. The access opening is formed at the side in the top of the face wall, while the rear vertical face of the top frame is raised, to give a covering surface and a sloping slab. The slope can be such that water runs off both the cover and the slab. There is a top cover (6) resting on two side members (4), and these members rest on a lower side wall.
