摘要 <p>Fire resistant panels, stable up to 1100 degrees C consit of a base of organic or mineral particles agglomerated with a thermosetting resin and a mineral coating based on aluminosilicate material of clay origin. The panels are prepd. by warm pressing at 100-200 degrees C. Specifically (semi-) refractory materials are used as prim. materials for the coating mineral, mixed with mineral products exhibiting a high thermal expansion and others of high thermal contraction at 20-1100 degrees C. The components are unsed sot hat the dilatometric behaviour of the cores of the granules and the coatings are approx. equal, with overall expansion of plus-or-minus 3% during a rise of temp. from 20-1100 degrees C in 190 mins. A mechanical locking effect is achieved at the interface between the core and coating using for the core particles, granules >=1 mm. dia., and for the oating particles, grain grains of average size =250 mu. Used as walls, partitions, doors etc. in building construction. The adhesive between the individual elements forming the panels is improved by ensuring that the interface is not smooth. The panels have improved resistance to thermal shock and fire at temps. =1100 degrees C.</p>
