<p>The attachment for securing a windscreen wiper blade to a wiper arm consists of a hollow block with a rectangular hole through it and which is wedged in place on the arm, by resilient plastics insert which acts as a key. In this way the attachment may be fitted onto arms of various sizes. The block hasa forked extension with two lugs, with a hole through each lug for a securing screw. The insert has a head, from which extend two narrow arms which fit along the sides of the rectangular hole. The extremities of these arms carry wedges forming a shoulder each side for locating inside the block.</p> |
