The model construction kit has building blocks fitting into each other and holding by friction. Surround stones blocks are fitted on to core blocks, the surround blocks being placed by pins fitting into corresponding recesses of the core blocks. The surround blocks have mitres on their edge surfaces and the construction kit also includes connecting blocks to connect core blocks to each other. The connecting blocks have cross cut grooves on their opposing front surfaces.
