Tap changer has quick resistor switching and pref. arranged in a sector fixed and movable main and resistor contacts for the transformer phases. Movable contacts are mounted on a shaft driven by a rocker arm controlled by guiding recesses of a drum. The movable main and resistor contacts (11) are mounted on an insulating support (14) mounted possibly rotatably on the shaft (12). Fixed contacts mounted pref. on an epoxy resin sector are springloaded.
