<p>The inductive switch is for the generation of switching pulses on the proximity of a metallic body. The device is small in size and operate at a constant switching point with a small force, such as that due to a thin metallic wire. The switch (1) is contained within an insulating case (2), on one face (3) of which outside the magnetic field of the switch is a pivoted mass (8). A small force applied to this mass produces a larger effect on the coil inductance and triggers operation of the switch. The switch may be applied to a crimping machine to cut off constant wire lengths or successive operations.</p> |
