<p>Optical device records and projects information in form of optical micro-pictures and uses rectangular block with stepped surface. The block (40) also comprises an input end which forms part of the block. The stepped ends (42) on the upper surface are right-angled, plane and chamfered. The block (40) and the input end are made from light conducting material of a phase separated object. The recording and projection devices comprises a light source, e.g. an incandescent lamp and a slide with the micro-information. The block (40) is made of glass or transparent plastic with uniformly distributed elongated rods.</p> |
