Glazing unit comprises two or more spaced connected panes of organic or inorganic materials, with the gap between them filled with liquid, pref. water. The liquid temp. can pref. be regulated by a cooler and/or heater, to adapt it to the required temp. difference between interior and exterior. Conventional glazing units, i.e. panes connected by air or a plastic film, may be combined with each other or with glass panes. Combination with synthetic glass panes is also possible. The glazing unit has very high sound insulation, with suppression of resonant frequencies causing vibration of windows, and high heat insulation.
