The exercise book has a normal front cover, printed with its contents, the back cover being printed to form the playing area of a gam. The inner leaf (5) of the back cover is double and has, on the outer portion (11), various printed representations (12, 13) for playing the game. This section is torn off, along a perforated line (7), and the parts cut out. The remaining portion of the inner leaf forms a pocket (10) to hold the playing pieces, being glued only on the top (8) and bottom (9) edges of this portion.
