The metallised strip is uniformly folded, and a capacitor block is produced by compressing several folds. Its sides consisting of fold edges serve as contact areas. The metallised dielectric strip is provided with continuous longitudinal folds, and the folded strip is pulled in the fold direction to the next processing station.
